Improving Dodge Throttle Response Posted on Jun 08, 2020 by Gaetscha Marcelin Watch as Gerrot Jacobson demonstrates using HP Tuners' electronic throttle controls in your tune to improve your vehicle's throttle response. The factory programmed your late-model vehicle’s stock computer for bare bones performance, but HP Tuners unlocks the computer so you can tweak and tune for maximum performance. Reprogram the factory computer, manually edit hundreds of performance parameters, and build custom tunes for maximum power with an HP Tuners VCM Suite MPVI package.

Oct 30, 2012 · HP Tuners has been a leader in providing software for GM custom tuning. So much so that when they began supporting a few Ford vehicles no one really noticed. The initial Ford release was missing a few parameters that I personally feel should have been included, but HP Tuners did listen to the community and has updated their software to include ...
DBW or E-Throttle is common on most late model production engines and we’re seeing more and more aftermarket ECUs adopt this technology. In this webinar we’ll discuss the technology, look at what is required from your ECU to control a DBW system, look at the configuration and testing, and finally discuss some techniques we can use to optimise torque delivery using DBW throttle mapping.
What is the relationship between Requested Torque, Accelerator Position and RPM and what does this mean to you as a tuner? I understand that Requested Torque is used as an input in the Target Throttle Angles Table and is used to determine Target Throttle Position, i.e. engine acceleration response.

  • ETC Effective Area vs. Throttle Angle vs. Vacuum: The effective area of the throttle body based on throttle angle and vacuum. This is used to calculate the airflow thru the TB. ETC Max Throttle Angle vs. RPM: The maximum allowed throttle angle in relation to RPM. Pedal. ETC Pedal Follower: Master enable/disable for the Pedal follower system.

Getting a tune or tuning the car yourself is the answer. The drive by wire throttle curve (and TM) is robbing you of the throttle response you desire. When you push down your foot 25% you are not getting 25% at the throttle blade as the electronic throttle is not a linear curve like a cable system often is.
